Gunfight rages in Achabal area | KNO

Anantnag,  June 17 (KNO) : A gunfight has started between militants and government forces in Badoora village of Achabal belt of South Kashmir's Anantnag district. An official sources told KNO that on receiving specific inputs about the presence of militants in the area joint team of forces including 19 RR, CRPF and SOG launched search operation in the area. On intensifying the search operation towards the suspected spot, militants hiding fired upon forces which was retaliated triggering gunfight. Sources said that two to three militants are believed to trapped in the area.(KNO)
